Alanstyne was built in 1931.

It has undergone extensive reconstruction and modernization over the last 3 years.  You can see  photos of the construction process on our Gallery page.

We still have some minor work to do but getting there,......

Alanstyne has many places to visit within just a few miles.  Walking South West Coastal Path or cycling the Tarka Trail, visiting Fremington Quay, bird watching on RSPB Isley Marsh, strolling along Instow beach or exploring the shoreline of the Taw or Torridge rivers are all sure to be great days out.

 

Like Surfing ???..... then look no further.  This is definitely the place to be as you are not far from some of the best beaches the country has to offer Croyde, Woolacombe, Puttsborough,  Saunton Sands and Westward Ho !

After your long day out perhaps exploring Exmoor and enjoying what North Devon has to offer, relax in our garden or private woodland area.
